Khara Bath Mix

Khara Bath is one of the traditional breakfast cuisines of Karnataka, is made primarily with semolina or rava. This delicious cuisine is healthy, refreshing, simple to cook & give a treat for your taste buds.

Ingredients:

 Sooji (54%), Edible vegetable oil, Bengal gram dal, Green chilli, Red chilli, Salt, Coriander, Mustard, Urad dal, Cinnamon, Clove, Cumin, Fenugreek, Asafoetida, Turmeric powder, Ginger,Curry leaves,Green peas

Cooking Direction:

  1. Take 2 to 21/4 measure of water and keep it for boiling. When the water starts to boil, add 1 to 2 tbsp vegetable cooking oil.
  2. ‘Measure’ means a cup or container of your choice.
  3. Slowly add 1 measure of Ogara Khara bhath mix. Keep stirring the mix gently till it becomes soft thickened uniform mix.
  4. You can enhance the taste by adding ghee to Khara bhath & serve it hot.
